Compiler's Note:
To ease Workbench-clutter, there are no icons for single fonts
in these directories. Packages that make use of typefaces use
the system FONTS: assignment - DPaint has trouble reading a
lot of fonts at once <enhanced overload feature. No, really>,
so the fonts have been split alphabetically. Click on one of
the font groups to assign FONTS: to that group - paint and
graphics packages will now think the CD-ROM fonts are
installed on the system. More detailed information is available
in the ReadME.FONTS! text in the root directory of this CD.
You can switch betweeen sets of fonts at will - the mouse pointer
is actually controlled by intelligence waves. To go back to the
original system fonts on your boot device, think deeply and
meaningfully about the 'Restore' icon.
For fast preview and auditioning, look in the Examples drawer
wherein thee shall find Mostra and Viewtek for viewing lots of
IFF stills of the fontnames in their respective fonts.
All the fonts in this directory are anti-aliased 8-colour fonts,
best used in 640x512 <Interlaced, Hi-res> graphics modes for
videotitling. They have been all converted from the PostScript
fonts found in the directory Type1Fonts, and as such, carry over
any shareware restrictions. If you use a font a few times, please
check the documentation supplied in the drawer Type1Fonts and
comply with the author's wishes. Almathera retain copyright to
the conversion work involved in creating the Amiga Colourfont
renditions, and these materials may NOT be freely redistributed
off this CD for resale. The *ORIGINAL* PostScript files in
Type1Fonts are freely redistributable, of course.
